PRIVATE SECTOR ORGANIZATIONS
The Private sector has strong representation on their behalf by organizations such as the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ), Jamaica Manufacturer and Exporters Association (JMEA) and the Jamaica Employer’s Federation (JEF) among others. Some of the most common complaints by these organizations are the bureaucracy and red tapes faced in doing business, problems associated with security, lack of available financing and taxation. A JAP government will work closely with these organizations to serve the best interest of their members and that of the public. Their input as well as that of the general public will be sought in designing policies aimed at overcoming these challenges.
