Transportation, works, labour, industry, trade, tourism and energy serve as the walls of the nation.
TRANSPORTATION
A comprehensive study of the transportation needs will be done right across the nation and measure will be implemented to improve the availability of suitable transportation. The transportation needs of persons in the rural areas has been a major problem. The rail service will need to play an important role in transportation in the future and though resources will not likely allow for its revitalization at present, lands will be identified and reserved for its future expansion.
WORKS
Maintenance must be actively carried out by the works ministry. As it stands at present very little maintenance is being done and where it do occur it is not performed in a timely manner, but instead are done when thing have reached into a state of disrepair. Buildings, roads, bridges and other facilities which are the responsibility of the works ministry must be better maintained which will result in savings and better infrastructure over time. Measures will be take to improve traffic flow and road safety.
LABOUR
The protection and rights of both the workers and employees will be the main goal of a JAP government. Safe working conditions, reasonable pay and work period will be pursue for the workers while safeguarding the interest of the employers.
TRADE
Trade is important for the growth of the nation. Efforts will be made to increase and widen our exports and incentives will be provided to exporters to achieve this.
TOURISM
Emphasis have to be placed upon improving the tourism product in order to get a larger share of the top-end market and have more repeat visitors. Medical tourism ought to be promoted where person can come and have medical procedures done at a much cheaper cost and recover in a relaxed setting away from home with all it demands and distractions.
INDUSTRY
The customs department which has proven to be nightmare to businesses will be reorganised. Measure will be put in place to help manufacturers modernise their factories and increase outputs. Taxes, duties on raw material and other inputs need to be looked at in order to enable the best prices for consumers and make our products more competitive overseas.
ENERGY
Steps will be taken to diversify the sources of energy with greater mphasis on wind, hydro and solar energy. Tax credits will be given where remodeling or re-tooling is done in industries so as to make then more energy efficient and reduce the usage of energy. Tax incentive will be given for equipment used to provide alternate sources of energy.
