THE PILLARS
The pillars of the nation will be based on agriculture, health, education, local government and environment
Agriculture
It is said that it takes an acre of land to feed a person for one year.  One of the first priorities will be to secure and zone agricultural
lands which cannot be used for any purpose that will impact on the use of these lands for agricultural purpose in the future. Steps will
also be taken with a view to eliminate praedial larceny. Apart from the losses suffered by farmers, there is also the threat to the public
health when unfit product such as sprayed vegetables or medicated animals are stolen, slaughtered and sold on the market. The
penalties and fines for such activity will be increased substantially. RADA will be expanded to work closer with the farmers and provide
technical services to increase the quantity and quality of output. They will help to determine the types of crops grown so as to prevent
glut of produce on the market.  
Health
The reduction of violence and motor vehicles accidents as outlined will greatly enhance the work of the health services. This will reduce
cost substantially to the sector and allows for the treatment of illnesses, and the performance of elective surgeries, both medical and
corrective. Great emphasis will be place on encouraging person to pursue a healthy lifestyle and maintaining good health. The
manpower need of the sector will be reviewed and steps taken to fill existing vacancies and provide training in areas where it is needed.  
Education
Educating the public on all aspects of life will be given keen attention so as to enable persons to make the best decisions possible.
More autonomy will be given to the administration and staff of our school to create an atmosphere which is conducive to learning.
Efforts to eliminate the shift system from our school system will be continued
Local Government
Local Government will be strengthened and be made more autonomous so that it can be responsive to and meet the needs of the
citizens. It will be made responsible for all local activities.
Environment
The environment will be given the attention which it deserves. Environmental agencies will be strengthened and given the
independence to make the best decision. An intense and extended educational campaign will be done so as sensitized persons as to
the need to care for the environment. Heavy penalties will be applied to person who breeches environmental regulation such as those
involved in illegal sand mining.
